50/50 Property Ride

The Blacktop / Doyenne cycle group's fundraising circuit of the Isle of Wight.

Blacktop / Doyenne is leading a charity fundraising ride around the Isle of Wight in June. In support of the south London youth charity Regenerate, the 50/50 Property Ride is so-called to encourage a gender balanced event with an equal split of men and women working in the property industry.

On 8th June we will be cycling a 102 km loop of the Isle of Wight, an epic challenge around the island’s beautiful (but hilly) coastline. The weekend is a fundraiser and also a networking weekend for individuals who work in the real estate/property industry. The aim of 50/50 is to encourage a gender balanced event and have an equal split of men and women working in the property industry, just like Ladies in Real Estate's 5050 Breakfasts are known to do.

The ride will be in partnership with and in support of Regenerate, a charity which creates opportunities for young people to thrive. They inspire and support young people by building strong relationships and creating lifechanging opportunities, helping them grow in confidence, make the best of their lives, and impact the world for good.

We are aiming to raise £25,000 to fund a full-time mentor/youth worker for a year at Regenerate. This will support the work of mentoring over 100 young people and support over 250 young people that regularly attend the Regenerate youth programs. To meet our target, we will expect every rider to get sponsored for their challenge, with an individual target of £500 each.

Register your interest in the ride here.
