Cycle Revolution underway

A weekend of activity starts today, with the Ride For Freedom Cycle Revolution fundraiser, supported by Climategames, to mark the annual United Nations International Day for the Abolition of Slavery.

Ride your bike to change a life. Support Ride for Freedom's campaign against modern slavery by joining a banded (one pace for all) Zwift ride around London this coming Sunday morning with team captain Jon Frost and a peloton of cyclists, or create your own ride, or just donate a few quid.

Your commitment will buy pre-loved bikes that Ride for Freedom will give to  victims of modern slavery, who attend our Freewheel programme, to support them to rebuild their lives. More than 50 people have committed to ride, from organisations including Biffa, Challenge–trg, as well as individuals. And it's all supported by fitness app climategames.

Here are a whole bunch of links:

Sign up here for the Zwift ride on Sunday.

Create your own solo ride indoors or outside, or with family, friends, colleagues, and cycling club mates. Sign up for that here.

Donate rather than ride here.

For more information about Ride for Freedom, email the organisers here.
